Sucked In

I wandered too close
To a black hole
While I traveling on
A starry night path.
It hid behind radiant
Patterns of light.
Its pull was seductive -
Not too much at first -
Then, enveloped in black,
I could't escape. When
I stopped fighting, then
Splat. There I was,
Just where I'd been
Before I was drawn in.
